I was having a bit of artblock so I drew some Corgis as anatomy practice. In the end I made a new character. (I didn't have any Corgi chars before!)
This was a lot of fun. Not serious at all but fun.

I like to think that I can get away with unnatural/bright colors because the end result is appealing?

d'awww, its so cute. I think you did really get away with it being sparkly because you
a)gave it realistic anatomy
b) didn't give it a fuckton of accessories
c)didn't give it a bunch of personality flaws that are edgy

Aha, those are my three guidelines for making sparkles exactly! Well, I have some more, but they're way specific. I get so irritated when I see those things, and to think I used to do them myself! e_____e
