I intend on updating it at least once a week, hopefully twice now that school's out.
I meant for it to be a sketchblog while my dA was for finished pieces. So don't fret, I'll compile things I like once in a while and put them into sketchdumps. _{But I hardly ever like anything enough to consider it sketchdump-worthy SOB we'll see we'll see}
I guess I can also post my behance publicly once I get more things on it .___.' It's sort of bare right now!

FTR I try to only follow strict artblogs or inspiration-type blogs so if I don't follow you that's probably why!

I have been in Providence for almost one whole week! I'm very happy to be here! I am already busy with things! Not working today though because today is a relaxation day, I am quite sick! I need to recover so I can go work my ass off for the rest of eternity!

I am debating posting student work online. It's pretty ugly so far and most definitely won't be on dA... I mean it's not because I want to show it off but I want to show my improvement over time, and document my thought process on projects, etc etc.

AHHH WHATEVER I actually already destroyed one assignment, but that one wasn't meant to have pleasing results at all, actually I think it was kinda of a "oh you think you know how to sculpt? Let me make you panic" thing.. heh

I probably won't work on any personal projects for a long time, maaaybe some sketches here and there, however I am very excited for how my art will change/improve in the next two years.

Hope your summer has been better than mine. Due to some injuries I've accumulated, it's been a lot of waiting. Waiting for pain meds to kick in, waiting for friends to come home, waiting for appointments, waiting for TV shows to air, waiting to feel better (I never really got there) and now, waiting for school to start. I still have around a week and a half before I leave, while everyone else (but one person, who leaves tomorrow) has moved in already.

Half of me is going crazy seeing all of my friends get to DRAW and PARTAKE IN THE ART SCHOOLS while I hibernate here, for seemingly no reason.
The other half isn't fit to draw.

That's not to say there weren't nice bits, because there were. I got to go to some of my favorite places (the beach!), eat food (I'm going to miss you, food) and I sort of?? had a summer romance???? Yeah I don't really know how to describe that. But it was nice. Given my general state I couldn't have asked for more.

Sorry about being such a downer! I warned you, though.

I don't plan to post [art] here again for a very long time, if ever. No promises that I won't wipe everything, so if there's something you like, or something I drew for you, whatever, I suggest saving it. (though that's the case with any artist really, they're not obligated to host their work online). That isn't to say that I'm gone. A few people may have noticed the occasional comment/favorite from me. I plan to keep on doing that.

firewind: Still haven't given up on getting everything done. Currently there are ~8 pages scanned in and I'm coloring them faster now that I've abandoned the higher quality of the first 3 pages. I've also fallen behind on commenting/faving the parts of ADP/Luna's entry, although I'm reading it, and am planning on commentbombing/favboming them once everything is over and I've uploaded all of my pages.

Other art: Lol, what other art? I've been artblocked for weeks now. Honestly after firewind I'm not sure what to do with my dA gallery. The most logical thing to do is a sketchblog, since I don't finish pieces easily. I'm temped to use tumblr or some other thing that's more suited to sketchblogs but I already know that would be really stupid. The other 209338 sites I've tried to groove with (FA, facebook, tegaki, oekaki, livejournal, formspring, etc) all resulted in dead or half-dead accounts. And tumblr/blogspot/whatever won't be any different. Another way to get more stuff uploaded would be to share my observational "srsbsns" work but I don't think people really want to see that.

Homestuck: Recently tackled Homestuck and it was... I don't know. I liked a lot of things and disliked a lot of things about it as well. Little doodle Karkats are showing up here and there, though.

Something fun to offset how bland and uninterested I usually sound: One of my good friends has a pet snake. I've been wanting to meet her for over a year and I finally found an excuse to go over to his house and hold her. SHE'S SO PRETTTTTTTTTTTY. She's around five feet long too, which is cool because she could comfortably stay on my shoulders/arms without any support. I was like sgldksjf the entire time. It was hilarious trying to get her back into her cage because she was all "I AINT DONE EXPLORING, FOOLS" and... yeah. It was awesome.
